Wie lange dauert es bis Johanniskraut rot wird : Traditionell wird das zerkleinerte blühende Johanniskraut im Pflanzenöl für vier Wochen in transparenten Glasbehältern dem Sonnenlicht ausgesetzt. In dieser Zeit gehen die Inhaltsstoffe des Johanniskrauts in das Öl über und der zunächst grüngelb wirkende Ansatz wird rot.
